Do you run credit and background checks? What are the qualifying criteria?
Yes. All applicants undergo credit and background screenings. In general, applicants should have a credit score of 650 or higher and no criminal history, bankruptcy, or outstanding balances owed to another rental community.

Are utilities included in the rent?
Most utilities are included in your rent. Residents are responsible for setting up and paying for electricity directly through Rocky Mountain Power.
What are the move-in costs and fees?
Move-in costs include:
- $40 application fee per applicant
- $500–$1,000 security deposit (O.A.C.)
- First month's rent (may be prorated based on your move-in date)
The security deposit and first month's rent are due after your lease is finalized and before keys are released.
Is parking available?
Yes. Parking is available for $20 per month per vehicle. Spaces are unassigned and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Is renters insurance required?
Yes. Residents may enroll in our renters insurance program for $19 per month, which provides coverage for both personal belongings and the apartment. You may also provide your own renters insurance policy if it meets community requirements.
When is rent due?
Rent is due on the 1st of each month.
What is the pet policy?
We welcome pets of all kinds.
- One-time pet fee: $350 for dogs and $300 for other pets
- Monthly pet rent: $35 per pet
Pets must be leashed in all common areas, and owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets. All dogs are required to complete a PooPrints DNA swab during move-in.
What is the guest parking and visitor policy?
Guest parking is available along the clubhouse and may be used for up to 48 hours. Guests staying longer than 48 hours must obtain a parking pass from the leasing office. All guests are expected to follow community rules while on the property.
What is the decorating policy?
Residents are welcome to personalize their homes by hanging pictures, shelves, and other decorative items. Before moving out, any wall holes should be repaired with spackle. Matching paint is available through the office to help avoid damage charges.
How do I schedule a tour?
Scheduling a tour is easy. Call, email, or stop by the leasing office during business hours. Walk-in tours are always welcome.
Do apartments come furnished?
Apartments include all major kitchen appliances and in-home laundry but are not furnished.
How are packages delivered and where can I pick them up?
Most packages are delivered to the mailbox area. Larger deliveries that do not fit in the mailbox are typically brought directly to your apartment door.
How do I submit a maintenance request?
Maintenance requests can be submitted anytime through the Resident Portal. Simply log in, select the "Maintenance" tab, and click "Request Maintenance."
What happens when I decide to move out?
Providence Square requires a 90-day notice before the end of your lease term.
Before moving out, residents should:
- Thoroughly clean the apartment
- Repair wall holes with spackle and touch up paint as needed (matching paint is available from the office)
- Return all keys, fobs, and parking passes
- Provide a forwarding address for security deposit processing
